First of all...there will be no peeking at any time during this post!

Second of all...are these not the cutest little
underwear-clad biscuits you ever did see?

Thirdly...they belong to this beautiful little blue-eyed two year old we fondly refer to as "Tootie."

And, no, it is not because she 'toots' a alot (even though that may very well be the case) but more so, it was a nick name we started calling her as a teeny tiny little baby and it just stuck! Hence we have our very own little Tootie.

This little Tootie isn't so little anymore. She is working hard at becoming a 'Big Girl' and going on the 'Big Girl Potty."

The last few weeks she has shown an increased interest in using the Big Girl potty and has been doing wonderfully at keeping dry and clean the majority of the time. It has been two full weeks since she has worn a diaper but is still alternating between pull-ups and underwear as needed.

We did have a minor
poop-on-the-floor incident the other night but that was my fault for not putting another pull-up or underwear on her after she tried a few minutes before hand. And let's just say it wasn't a
particularly good night for our carpet as she had also vomited up a hunk of string cheese and apple juice a mere half hour prior to this.

I consider any progress in using the potty a huge advancement as it means that I am getting that much closer to not having to change (and buy) diapers. Wouldn't that be nice? It has been a long almost 5 years of diaper duty and it is time for a much needed break but honestly I think I will miss it just a little because it means that my babies are no longer babies any more (
sniff, sniff)

I also have to apologize for the lack of updates the last couple of weeks. Life has gotten so very busy between home and work. I was out of town 3 days this past week in meetings down in the cities and just found out I have to travel to Amarillo in a couple of weeks to present at a training session. Not particularly looking forward to being away from my family again but you gotta do what you gotta do, right?
In the mean time it is time to pot-tay around here!

Oh my goodness...how cute! ;) Way to go...always an exiciting time! Enjoy your weekend...and safe travels...that's hard to be away from the fam :( Love the pictures, she's just too darn sweet :)
