Just wanted to share some pictures of the humongous dandelion
thingies I saw in the ditch on the way home.
I say 'dandelion
thingies' because I am pretty positive it isn't a true dandelion for two reasons.
Reason one: Because the stalks and leaves look nothing like a dandelion's leaves.
Reason two: They are so darn
big that there is
no way it could really be a dandelion!
To put it into perspective...here are three of them in a vase next to Grants head (and
trust me, my kids do not,
by any stretch of the imagination, have small heads!)
Next, here is one of them compared to my hand.
I know they are technically 'weeds' but these weeds get center stage, right in the middle of my dining room table.
I am curious to know...Does anybody have any idea what these gorgeous weeds actually are????

Wow! I've never seen those get so big! We have the small ones...are they even the same thing? lol
