The Bachelor...WHAT THE @#*%!

Okay...did anyone watch The Bachelor tonight???? WHAT THE!!! I CAN NOT believe that DiAnna is coming back!!!! I guess you had to have watched last season to know what I am talking about, but for those of you who do watch will understand. How could they do that to Jason? He was all ready for a fresh start and determined to find love again and SHE thinks she can just waltz back into his life and take him back!!! Arrrrhhhh!!
Okay, so I kind of like Jason and DiAnna together and really like the drama...or what my hubby calls Smut TV, but I was also excited to see what happens with the girls that are new to the show. I am not sure who I like yet though...I think I will have a better idea next week. Thinkin' maybe the Dallas Cowboys cheerleader or maybe the widow (I can't remember all of their names and I wonder how in the world he remembers them after all of that wine!) ohh, and I liked the sort of blond one from Michigan...can't remember her name either. I guess I will just have to wait until next week to what happens. Good thing Greys is new this week so I have another show to look forward to.
Sweet Dreams!

Hap, Hap, Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to all! Can you believe that it is already 2009! My how the time flies.
We had a pretty quiet New Years Eve. We stayed home with the kids, ordered pizza, had a few drinks, and then our neighbors, Ray and Sharon came over for a while to just hang out. We talked them into trying out a game of bowling on the wii and I think they liked it. We are addicted. They left around midnight and after ringing in the new year, Duke and I had to try out his Cabelas Big Game Hunt game on the wii. It is kind of tough!

This morning, the kids were up bright and early. Grant and I were sitting at the kitchen table and I spotted a pileated woodpecker out the kitchen window. After I pointed it out to him, I told him to go wake his Dad up and tell him that we just saw a pileated woodpecker. He said, "okay" and ran it to the room yelling, "Hey Daddy, me and Mommy just saw a pilli-willi-winkle woodpicker!" I am tellin' ya, that kid is a hoot! He pretty much made my morning :)

I will just share a few random pictures of my silly little monkeys...
I keep thinking Grant is getting so big, but here he is trying on one of my sweatshirts and he is swimming in it. He is still my little bubba!
Then, the other night we set up his hot wheels loop-de-loop race track, each picked our car to race and then had a competition.
Here is the count-down...5-4-3-2-1....
Wow, look at it go!

And then I got the old, "You're a loooooserrrrrr!"

And then nah-nah-na-nah-nah with a little booty shake!

And if adding insult to injury wasn't enough, then he told me that I could use his car next time so I wouldn't lose again! Somewhat thoughtful, but still...what a little stinker!

Speaking of stinkers...her is Tootie trying on Daddy's ear phone thingys (what is the technical name for those anyway????)

Next, I am not sure where she found these, but she seemed very interested in them.

A little too interested if you ask me. She was trying to put them on her head! No, sweetie, those are underwear, not a hat!

But Mom, they fit so well! Lets just hope those were taken our of the drawer and not the dirty clothes basket! You all know how well 3 year old wipe!!!!

And this last picture looks so sweet...could that be a little Oreo or chocolate on her mouth. NO, not my little devil child. She was eating DIRT out of one of my plants! Naughty little monkey!

Well, I hope everyone has a wonderful start to the new year. I know the Kleman house is really looking forward to all that 2009 has to offer. For those of you who have not heard yet, Duke got a new job as a teacher in the Marine and Small Engine program at Alexandria Technical College. He will of course be teaching the motorcycle and ATV portion of the program. He is very much looking forward to this new adventure. His last day at Precision is tomorrow so I am sure it will be an emotional day for him since he has worked there most of his career.
My wishes to all for a 2009 that is filled with health, love and laughter.

Grant Cracks Me Up!!

I know, I know...back to back nights of posts! Must be a record for me. I just had to share the goings on of my crazy son. Tonight when we got home, Grant of course lost his socks, then his shirt...you know the drill. Well, before the pants came off, and while I was making dinner, he and Audrey discovered some "attire" out of the junk drawer. He put on a foam Halloween mask and then proceeded to make "wrestling gloves" out of can-koozies! Never seen them used for gloves before, but it was quite comical :)
Then, he began wrestling the couch pillows WWE style!

Oooh, look at mister tough guy showing off his big pipes! (M0- if you look close can you see the JOR koozie on his left hand? I bet you have never seen one used quite like this!)

What a little maniac!

Whew, that was some tough work! Those pillows put up a really good fight.

After the wrestling ceased, both kids began scavenging for other goodies. Grant found his yellow recorder and said, "Look Mom, I found my un-i-tune!" I about lost it!!!! He cracks me up with the stuff that he comes up with. It definitely makes me forget about everything else going on and reminds me to cherish even the littlest of things.

Audrey even decided to get in on the action with the next best thing, the "light saver" (as Grant would call it)
If my kids are anything like me, they will have ZERO musical talent, but they sure do seem to have the knack to get a few good laughs!

My little cutie can toot his own horn any day of the week!

And just a couple of Little Miss Siss so she doesn't feel left out...

This is her new "smile" I think she is catching on the the concept of smiling for pictures because she is getting a lot of practice. Since Dec 6th, when I got the new camera, I have already taken 1075 pictures. That basically tells you that my kids have the camera lens shoved in their face every waking hour! Duke gets mad at me because I am "annoying" but some day when he can see what his kids were doing almost every day when they were little, he will THANK ME!

Hoping we don't get any more snow over the night. I swear we got between 8-10 inches today and that is good plenty! Don't get me wrong, I love the snow...just hate driving in it.
Better go watch the news so I know what is coming for tomorrow.
Blessings to all!
