What difference you made in my life...

I know it is by far waaaaaayyyy past Mother's day but I came across these pictures while I was looking for a post "theme." There is a super funny story that goes along with the card I received from my handsome little man.

Grant went with Grandma Sue to the store to pick out a card for me and he decided he wanted to give me one of those musical cards. You know...the super annoying ones that kids just seem to get the ultimate kick out of. Yep, those kind.
Grant reportedly searched and searched and listened to EVERY musical card they had. He finally stumbled across the one that he just HAD to get for me. But look closely...

It's a happy GRANDMA'S Mother's Day card!!!!!! (Notice: Grandma tried to re-title it appropriately!)

Grant would sit and listen to his annoying sweet, new favorite song and sing along with it over and over and over some more!

Bet you are wondering what this new favorite song is...aren't ya?!?
OKAY, OKAY! I won't make you wait any longer.
(warning: NOT responsible for causing anyone to wet their pants from extreme laughter!)
**Oh, and remember to scroll down to the bottom of the page to mute the music so you can get the full effect of the performance!
If you don't recognize the song, here is one more take at it.
Have you ever heard it before?
Do you know who it is???
Do you? Do you?
It's none other than good ole' Ronnie Milsap you sillies!
Okay, I have to admit, the only reason I knew who sang it was because I cheated and looked on the back of the card.
{giggle, giggle}
Toodle-oo!

I ♥ Faces Week 21 - "Happy Birthday" and "Pets"

This weeks I Faces kids photo challenge is "Happy Birthday" and there is an "Anything Goes - Pets" category and because I didn't enter last week I figured I would enter both this week. Sound fair? Hope so!
My Happy Birthday entry is a picture of Grant's little buddy, Peyton. He turned 5 in April and this was Grant's first real friends birthday party. Isn't he a cutie-patootie!

My pet photo is a picture of one of the kittens at our daycare. Her cat had kittens and I begged my husband to take home fell in LOVE with this little gem. Since we had just gotten a kitten a couple of months ago, I got the ki-bosh. And I was all ready to name her Pixie...then we would have had Trixie and Pixie! Darn those husbands!

Make sure to head on over to I Faces any time this week and check out all of the other fabulous entries.
