So, as you can see, Mr. Easter Bunny stopped by for a quick snack and he left a couple of baskets of loot for the kiddos.
See what I mean? Now that is some loot.
I actually missed getting a picture of the Punk's initial reaction but he was still this excited by the time I got the camera out. He was in full shock-n-awe mode that the Easter Bunny was really at our house!
Mr. Bunny even snuck into the fridge and hid all of the Easter eggs we colored. That sneaky bunny! I just love the messy hair and the puffy "I just woke up eyes"

Audrey didn't quite understand the concept of "real" Easter eggs. She threw them right into her basket like they were plastic. Oh well, could be worse, right?
She actually really got into hunting for eggs. The bunny must have been lazy because he hid all of the eggs in the house. Next year the Easter Bunny is going to make sure that any and all real Easter eggs are hidden outside. That way when the Easter Bunny outsmarts himself and hides an egg where even he can't find it, there are no worries. Luckily my little genius daughter cracked the bunny code this very morning and found that pesky egg before it started stinkin' up the joint! Yeah Tootie!

This little funny bunny figured out that she LOVES her some Reeses Peanut Butter Cups! She was like a chocolate fiend the entire day. She even ended up breaking into Grant's basket from Grandma Sue and Grandpa Oscar and began biting into every little chocolate bunny she could get her hands on! Of course, Grant freaked out and yanked it all from her hands which then caused her to scream bloody murder and run after him. All the while he was crying because she ate and ruined all of his candy. I finally calmed the situation by promising that Grant could have some of the candy from her basket. Ahhh...brotherly and sisterly love.
Grant even got a new Jeep game for the wii. What a lucky little fella!

And of course he had to try on Audrey's bunny ears! Silly rabbit!

After the morning festivities, we headed up to the lake to have Easter lunch with Duke's family. That is where I took this adorable picture of Tootie (and where I took the one of her that I entered into last weeks I heart faces photo contest) My sweet little dumplin'!

The lake was still frozen so in made for a "cool" background. Ha! I am funny, aren't I!?!

The kids use the dock as a jungle gym to climb on.

And then came the outside egg hung. Emily, Grant and Audrey each had 15 eggs to find and boy did they hit the jackpot! Candy and money. Lucky kids. When I was little we got to keep the hard-boiled eggs that we found. Yippee!

Grandpa O helped them find and count them.

What a nice Grandpa, huh!

The it was outside to enjoy the nice weather.

It was a little windy by the lake so the kids had to wear their coats but at least it was sunny and the snow was practically all gone.

Sissy thought it was pretty cool to go outside and find more eggs. She just LOVES being outside!

Daddy didn't partake in the egg hunt festivities. Instead, he caught a few winks in the easy chair!

After the egg hunt is was time to crack into the eggs and the rest of the Easter baskets.
