Kissyiss Yiiights

Hold on to your shorts! I am actually going to make a rare appearance on my blog.
Shocking, I know!!!

*Please excuse the no make-up and air dried/barely brushed hair look that I was sporting. Remember, I rarely get my picture taken.

These pictures are from a couple of weeks ago (pre snow and subzero temps, as you can see) while playing outside with the kids, camera in tow, in hopes of capturing 'the' shot for this years Christmas card.
This little sneaky-sneaker decided he enjoyed photography so he took over the camera for a while and started snapping away!Not too bad for an amateur 4 year old, huh!?! At one point I stole the camera back and captured this adorable picture of the kids wrestling with the cat. I really love that you can almost hear their laughter radiating from the picture. Might just have to frame this one!
Okay, on to the original intent of this post (I know...I am terrible at digressing!)

The other day I realized how humorous and entertaining it is to have a 4 1/2 year old and a 2 year old in the car with me. Now that Audrey is talking a lot more she has become almost like a parrot in the car. Whatever Grant says, she says. Whatever Grant does, she does. Their newest thing is every time Grant spots a house with Christmas lights up he proclaims, "Christmas Lights!" Like clockwork, Audrey then chimes in "Kissyiss Yiiights!" Another funny is if he yells "Christmas Lights!" and she doesn't see them, she replies "Me see Kissyiss Yiiights!?" Grant then says, "They are back there, you missed 'em." and she replies, "Awwww, Me see Kiiissyiss Yights!"

As Christmas gets closer, more and more houses turn on their lights and guess what....Yep, NON STOP, I hear;

G: "Christmas Lights!"

A: "Kissyiss Yiiights!"

G: "Christmas Lights!"

A: "Me see Kissyiss Yiiights!"

G: "They are back there, you missed 'em."

A: "Awwww, Me see Kissyiss Yiiights!"

G: "Christmas Lights!"

A: "Kissyiss Yiiights!"...

Do you get the picture?

Thought so!

Now, would you like to go with us for an evening ride to look at "Kissyiss Yights?"

Thought not!

I am guessing only a mother could appreciate this type of humor!
