I ♥ Faces - Week 17 "Hats"

Hmmm...Hats. Now that is wide open, isn't it? Especially since we live in MN and over half of the year requires wearing a hat. Let me tell you, the pictures with hats are plen-t-ful. BUT...I'm going for something a little different here (hint: Yee Haw!)
Yep, you guessed it! Cowboy hats!
The adult entry is from a couple of weeks ago at our friends, Mike and Stacie's, wedding. I took some candid shots as "practice" for me and a bonus for them. I had a blast doing it, now I just have to finish up all of the editing! I really think I could get into this photography thing. Okay, okay... I am already completely HOOKED.

And in true honky tonk spirit...Little Miss Tootie is sportin' her new red cowgirl hat. I'm telling ya'...$5.99 at Super Wal Mart and you have hours of fun!!! She thought this hat was pretty neato-bandito! There were even people snapping pictures of her wearing it around Wal Mart in the shopping cart!

Baby Yeah-Yeah!

I declare that I have the worlds most agreeable daughter. I mean, she says "yeah" to almost every question you ask her. It is actually quite comical so I figured I would take a couple of small videos with my digital camera to share the absolute hilarity.
The first one was shot by me, but she wouldn't hold still so I apologize for moving around so much. Also, you ar going to want to scroll all of the way down to the bottom of the page to pause the music. There is a little pause icon in the black music box. Happy viewing!

This final video shows just how good of sharer (is that even a word) my little Tootie is! She loves her kitten kat.

And I will leave you with this image. Grant was playing around with my point-n-shoot and said "Mom and Tootie, say CHEESE" but cheese didn't work so I said, "Audrey, say "boogers" and Grant snapped this beauty. Hey, at least she knows what boogers are!

I ♥ Faces Week 15 - "Self Portrait"

Holy moly what a tough theme for this weeks I ♥ Faces photo challenge! I pretty much was choosing NOT to participate this week until I got a wild hair up you know where! The two pictures I have chosen this week were taken this evening in our living room just sitting on the couch. While I was attempting to capture a somewhat acceptable image of myself, the 4 year old was hooking a plastic slinky to my toe and stretching it across the room and my 18 month old was "throwing" real baseballs around the room! PURE CHAOS!
