Thankfully, I do not have a profound and moving story to tell you about this picture. It is just one of those lucky pictures from a photo shoot I took this past summer and I happened to capture such a seemingly sweet moment. With a little editing I was able to give this candid shot a whole new meaning.
As a mother, I can not imagine having to leave my children behind or to have to see them suffer from cancer one day. I have a deep hatred for the 'c' word because of all of the pain and suffering it has caused so many families. So thank you iheartfaces for choosing to honor those who have been effected by breast cancer (heck ANY cancer). They are all true HEROS!

Yes, my dear little Grant decided a hot summer day was the perfect time to dress up in his cowboy gear - Cowboy boots, a Dodge Ram bandanna tied around his neck, jean (shorts) with a belt of course, his sister's red

Isn't she an absolute DOLL!?

If you guessed
Since my kiddos were out of their itty bitty baby stage before I got my DSLR and really got interested in photography, I am entering a picture of my dear friend, Lisa's little boy. He is the cutest little rolly-poly baby I have ever laid eyes upon. I could just eat him right up! This pic was taken last Oct when he was 3 mos old. Crazy to believe he will be 1 year old this July AND he will be a BIG brother around the same time. His Birthday is July 15th and his little brother is set to arrive around July 24th!!! Can't wait to meet and photograph that little darlin' as well.
Grant just turned 5 in March so he isn't technically 'reading' to Audrey, but if she is sitting and listening intently to Grant's rendition of "Dora the Explorer - When I Grow Up" then so be it!!! Anything as long as he isn't tormenting her to the point of shrieking is A-OK with me :)
I took this picture on a beautiful evening last week. My hubby was out of town so the kids and I swung by McD's and grabbed some burgers and fries and headed over to the park for a picnic and some playing. Loving the warm and sunny weather we have been having. Makes me feel all 'yellow' inside :)
The best part about this picture is, my little man had asked if he could try to take a few pictures and this is what we ended up with. I couldn't be more proud to be the mother of my two special kiddos.

Audrey, also lovingly referred to as "Tootie,' is my 3 year old lovely little dumplin'. She has a funny little personality, she's sweet and a tad bit sassy and always keeps me on my toes. She loves to play babies, color and do 'projects' and is forever making a mess.
