Well hellooooooo... Not too much excitement around here the last couple of days. Just a little grocery shopping and picking up of the house. Nothing new in Mom-land! Speaking of motherly duties, I think my least favorite is laundry. With two filthy little piglets and a husband who feels the need to take 2 showers a day, I feel like I am constantly digging out from underneath a pile of dirrteee clothes! Ugh, hate it! But I guess I can't let my kiddo's go out in public looking like a cross between Linus and Pig-Pen from Charlie Brown.
Speaking of Linus, both of my children tow around their silky blankets but Grant especially reminds me of Linus. He started out calling his favorite blankie "Blue" when in actuality the blanket was white. It was also very confusing because he had 2 silky blue blankies that were the substitutes for when "Blue" was in the wash or not to be found. Then one day, out of the blue (no pun intended!) Grant finally started calling the blanket "White"...Okay, progress. I could finally tell which blanket he was talking about. Not too long after he got his color coding down, his white-dar was on the fritz and he wasn't able to find his blankie when he needed it the most...bedtime. So he began to walk around the house calling, "Oh Mr. Whiiite, where are you?" and now to this day his blanket is deemed "Mr. White."
I know this is random, but I just have to share some funny pictures of my children showing their personalities... Audrey has been making the funniest faces lately. She either crinkles up her nose and breathes in and like an angry bull or she is constantly sticking out her tounge. Now that she has both top and bottom teeth, I am wooried she is going to bite into her tounge. I think
she
may actually give Gene Simmons a run for his money by the looks of this picture!!!
she Grant had fun "fiking" his hair and wearing his new "school shirt" the other day. (he's no the best at sying his S's yet so they still sound like F's...but he is able to say "Suck" pretty clearly so no worries about him replacing that S with an F if you know what I mean!!! He starts evening ECFE preschool next Monday. That should be an interesting night since he tells me he doesn't want to go to school. Oh no, it is already happening .
And nothing like a little Macaroni & Cheese to go with that cheezy smile! I just can't seem to get a good smile out of him anymore. It must be a stage of over thinking the smile :) Meal times are always interesting when it comes to little Miss Audrey! She pretty much eats almos anything, and she is extremely good at making a complete mess of herself and anything within a 5 foot radius! Oh, and little Dolly Parton likes to "sing" or at least that is what she thinks she is doing. She pretty much yells, squeels and screams just to hear her
self making noise. And as for Grant. If you haven't already
noticed a the
me...he prefers to cruise aound the house in his tighty whities for the better part of the day. I am willing to bet it is a learned behavior he has picked up from his father! Hey, what am I complaining about...that's less laundry for me!!!
